AI Quiz Maker: Make a Quiz From Your Notes
Revizly's AI quiz maker writes multiple-choice questions from a class (PDF, photo, pasted text, DOCX, PPTX or a YouTube video), each with the correct answer and an explanation, in about 30 seconds. It's built for high school and college students and exam candidates. Two classes a month are free; after that, the Essential plan is $6.99 a month.
Works for any class
What's in a generated quiz?
A quiz built from what your professor covered, not from a generic question bank.
Written from your material
Every question comes from the notes, slides or PDF you upload, topic by topic.
Ready in seconds
Upload, wait about 30 seconds, and start answering.
Explanations, not just answers
After each question you see the right answer and a short explanation that points back to your notes.
Checked before you see it
Each answer is checked against your material before you see it, so the key matches your notes.

| Pasted text | Used as is | Study sheet, flashcards, practice quiz | About 30 seconds | Yes |
| DOCX (Word) | Text of the document | Study sheet, flashcards, practice quiz | About 30 seconds | Yes |

AI quiz maker FAQ
How does the AI quiz maker write the questions?
It reads your notes, slides or PDF, splits the material into topics and writes multiple-choice questions on each one. Every question has four options, one correct answer and an explanation, and the answer is checked against your material before you see it.
Will the questions match my class?
Yes, because they're written from what you upload. A pharmacology lecture gets pharmacology questions at that level, and an intro psych chapter gets intro psych questions. Nothing comes from a generic question bank.
How many questions do I get?
It depends on how much material you upload. A typical chapter gives you around 15 to 25 questions on a paid plan. The free plan shows a 4-question preview for each class.
Can I trust the answer key?
The answers come from your own material, and each explanation points back to it. Revizly also checks every answer against your material before you see the question and drops the ones that don't match. If a question still looks off, go with your professor's notes.
Is the quiz maker free?
Yes, there's a free plan. It covers 2 classes a month with a 4-question preview quiz for each, and your very first class is made in full. Essential ($6.99 a month) and Premium ($9.99 a month) give you full quizzes on every topic and let you generate a fresh set of questions on the same material.

Find out what you don't know before the exam does
Upload your notes and take a practice quiz on them in about 30 seconds.
Make my first quizWhat makes a good AI quiz generator
A lot of AI quiz generators write questions from a topic name. Revizly writes them from your material: the slides, notes and readings your exam is actually based on. That's the difference between a trivia quiz and real exam practice.
Why quizzing yourself works
Researchers call it the testing effect: pulling an answer out of memory strengthens it far more than reading it again. In a well-known study by Roediger and Karpicke, students who took practice tests remembered much more a week later than students who spent the same time rereading.
How the quiz generator works
Upload a PDF, slides, a Word doc, photos of your notes or a YouTube lecture. Revizly splits it into topics, writes four-option questions with one right answer each, and explains every answer. Take the quiz once without notes, review your misses, then take it again a day or two later.
Who it's for
Students with a multiple-choice exam coming up: nursing and pre-med students working through pharmacology or A&P, psych and bio majors before a midterm, and anyone with a stack of slides and not much time.
